LEAF PEEPERS, TAKE NOTE: WE GOT COLOR
Well, we struggled through what those who keep track of such things say, "was the coldest/wettest Summer in 129 years" and here is the big reward, beautiful early colors, plenty of sunshine and two weeks with out rain.  All the leading indicators are pointing to a wonderful fall and my prediction is the most awesome Indian Summer in 129 years ;-) So come to the holler and we will all enjoy it together.

NEW BLOG: We have been working on a better way of getting this information to you. The information contained in this weekly news letter will also be posted in the Pollywogg Holler Weekly Blog and More information on each subject will now be only a click away.

ENTERTAINMENT: This Wed evening (tomarrow afternoon) it will be the little known but much appreciated Jerry Jeadman and GRASS TRASH.  Jerry was one of the first musicians at the Holler, going back over 20 years.  He was new in the entertainment field and wanted the expierence so he would be the first of the open mike crowd.  He would break the ice byjumping on stage and start belting out tunes.

This Sunday, the it will be back by popular demand, none other than, BOB FARMER AND THE UNCLE RAT BAND.  Top notch entertainment that you dont want to miss.

  o

FOOD: Pollywogg Pizza, often referred to as "the best PIZZA in the country", cause who else, out in the country, is making PIZZA. So we must be the best.

I am happy that we ran out of marinated pork loin, for our WOGG WRAPS, so we substituted thin sliced Italian sausage patties and what a hit they were. Another one of my favorites and we are still looking for a name.

LAST WEEK: Believe it or not,  but I (Wild Bill) actually made a mistake.  I anounced that the Sun. band was TOMMY AND THE TWO TONES, well it was actually TOMMY "T" AND THE GLIDERS.  The Gliders putd on such a great show that no one complained, thus letting me off the hook, so you suppose that they held the complaints out of respect for me? ? ?

This past Wed. we had the honor of another old time favorite FRITZ HENRY,

I liked Frit's music 30 years ago and swear he still gets better. Go Fritz.

PROJECTS: Taking a break from Holler Projects and giving The Big Band Mill a workout.  Fran Noble brought over our biggest logs to date.  They came from the Hornell BOCES Campus.  They were monster almost 4' diameter Red Oak, ten and eight foot long.  What beautiful tables they will make and the best part, they won't be cut up in to fire wood, cause we have the Big Band Mill that can slice a tree five foot in diameter.

The next log will be a big Cherry tree and some big Larch that I will be using to build a Bar and Stairway for Daughter Debbie and Mike for the new high end restaurant that they are building, at HUMMING BIRD HILL

BARTERING BILLS CLASSIFIED AD'S: Thanks to members,Todd and Annie, I now have a book on Bartering and as soon as I can find time to read it, I know that I will be able to introduce the final touches needed to get this thing going.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK: " I love to talk about business when I am drinking, but I only talk business when I am not drinking."  -- William Castle  1940-????

CONCERNS:  DWI'S are the concern of all.  We like to encourage Designated Drivers and really applaud all those that have adapted the practice.  We all know that, even though we may think we have the ability to drink and drive,  the risk of getting ourselves or some one hurt, or arrested, is just not worth it.  Drinking and Driving puts everyone at risk not to mention the face that sooner or later you're going to get caught, who can afford it???

Weeeeee Loveeeee Youuuuuuu, Bill, Barb, Mick and Staff
